We have explored one of the biggest challenges being faced by sixteen IoT verticals, the inability to process, comprehend, and utilize all the data produced by large sensor networks in near real-time.  This need for mass, instant data flow and response is exemplified in the diagram produced by Dr. Kurt Zatloukal, University of Graz, Austria.  Where in his lecture he discusses the need for mass data flow to enable AI to achieve better healthcare interdiction.
